Rug Blocking

Rug creasing can occur for several reasons, such as improper maintenance, past water damage, moving furniture across the rug, or natural wear over time. Our rug blocking process is designed to address these issues. We begin by brushing the rug until the fibers lie smooth and even using a specially designed rug rake. We then roll the rug tightly from the edge where the pile is smooth. Next, we apply carefully selected solutions to help the rug hold its new shape. The rug is then placed on our blocking machine, which gently stretches it to its intended size. This process typically takes up to 10 days. Once completed, we measure the rug to confirm accuracy. If it is free of wrinkles and meets our standards, it is rolled into paper wrapping. Our team will then reach out to arrange delivery.

New Padding

We offer a wide selection of rug pads, all custom cut to fit your space. Our options include non-slip pads, jute rubber-back pads, kid-friendly pads, pet-friendly pads, earth-friendly pads, and recycled pads. Depending on your rug type and flooring, we can bring samples to your home and provide pricing. A quality pad helps prevent your rug from bunching or sliding, keeping it securely in place. Cushioned pads add an extra layer of comfort, making your rugs more enjoyable to walk or sit on. We recommend cushioned pads for larger rugs in spaces where you spend the most time. Our pads combine rubber for grip and felt for cushion, allowing you to choose the level of lift and softness that suits your needs.

Rug Storage

We offer rug storage only for rugs we have cleaned. The first month of storage is complimentary. Pricing beyond that depends on the rug type, weight, quantity, and length of storage. Our minimum storage period is 6 months, with a maximum of 24 months. For this service, all service and storage fees are due in full on the day storage begins.
